The Rijn IJsselcollege is building its new ENKA campus on the former AKZO site in Arnhem. One of the buildings that have been realized is the “Tech Plaza”. The technology and ICT courses are housed in this building, which will facilitate 3000 students and 400 staff members. On the ground floor, automotive technology students can gain practical experience in the well-equipped technology room with various car bridges. Eight Compact overhead doors have been installed in this space.

Why did the Rijn IJsselcollege choose the Compact overhead door?
The main advantage of Compact overhead doors is that no ceiling rails are required due to the unique folding system. As a result, these industrial doors can be installed without rails or an open door getting in the way of, for example, the car bridges. Furthermore, there are windows above the doors and the door does not block light when it opens.
This project is being carried out by construction company Binx.
