3 new doors were installed at Haveland in Rheden. A total of 20 Compact doors are now being used in this building. Since there are different companies on the premises, different solutions are required. The Compact roller door is perfect for this because it saves space and can be used flexibly. In addition, it can be designed according to the customer’s wishes and equipped with windows. It is even possible to choose a wicket door that makes it easier to access and thus ensures greater efficiency.
Versatile Applications
For example, the Compact door was used in combination with an overhead crane in some rooms and installed directly under an air conditioning system in others. There is also enough space for pipes, sprinkler systems and lamps thanks to the Compact roller door. But fire protection is also an important aspect.
Practical solution with fire doors
In the current situation, it was primarily about fire protection. In order to be able to guarantee this, our door was installed in combination with a fire protection door. Since the Compact roller door can be installed both inside and outside, it is possible to attach a second door for fire protection on the other side. The fire protection door from TREAX offers high resistance in the event of fire and thus protects the valuable asset. In addition, it is just as compact as our Compact roller door and therefore requires little installation space. This leaves enough space for other desired installations.
Everyday Use vs Emergencies
The fire protection door is connected to a fire alarm system so that it only closes in the event of a fire and otherwise remains open. Not all doors for fire protection, such as fire protection sliding doors, lifting doors or stacking doors, are suitable for intensive daily use. The Compact door, on the other hand, is perfect for intensive use. By combining these two roller doors, a solution was created that is both suitable for everyday use and can also protect against fire.
