Very recently, one of the largest industrial bakeries in Europe added an extension to their production facility. Our long-time client Flexitec B.V. was asked to produce and deliver a freight elevator in the building. The Compact door was used to close off the elevator.
Flexitec Elevators
Flexitec specializes in custom elevators for industrial as well as commercial and residential projects. In this project a freight elevator that can lift up to 4000kgs was installed. The freight elevator is equipped with a galvanized steel cabin with collision protection and ceiling with LED lighting. Flexitec has been using Compact doors in many of their projects over the years. We are proud to continue this cooperation for many more years!
Compact elevator doors
The Compact door is a sectional folding door that can be installed on the outside of the elevator shaft. In this case, on both sides of the elevator. The client selected a sandwich panel door with a full vision panel for a better view inside. As the Compact door folds its panels up above the elevator opening, no floor space is wasted. The door controls are integrated in the elevator controls for a seamless integration.
