We simply had to film this beautiful project about new industrial doors for the Anholt fire brigade, just over the Dutch border. A big thank you to Oliver Kiefmann and Jürgen Großkopf from the Isselburg volunteer fire brigade – Anholt, for their commitment on the day of filming.
Extensive modernisation work was carried out at the fire brigade in Anholt. This included replacing the old wooden doors from the 1960s with modern, electrically operated compact industrial doors. The wooden doors did not have the necessary dimensions for the new emergency vehicles. In order to meet the changed requirements and the dimensions of the emergency vehicles, the new industrial doors were installed. The new doors not only meet the current technical standards, but also take into account the practical needs of the firefighters. An important aspect was the installation of a light barrier and a traffic light to ensure safety during operation. Read more about the new industrial doors from the Anholt fire brigade here.
