Maximising the use of space is important in many commercial and/or industrial buildings. Traditional overhead doors roll up along the ceiling, which limits the height in your building. Lighting can be blocked and there is no room for installations.

The Compact folding door allows you to maximise the use of space in your building. Thanks to the unique Compact folding system, where the panels fold up above the door opening, no ceiling rails are required.

Space-saving solution

How does the Compact door save space?

The Compact door is designed as a space-saving door solution. Its insulated panels fold into a small package above the door opening. No overhead rails, which provides you with ample space for installations, cranes or other items that are on the ceiling. What are the advantages of this system?

Sectional door with crane track

1. No overhead rails, more space for ...

The main space-saving feature of the Compact door is its folding system. Whereas standard sectional doors roll up and over, the Compact door just needs a small space above the door opening. This serves both practical and esthetic purposes, as the ceiling is free of rails or support systems. We have seen this work very well in buildings with crane tracks, car wash installations, windows above the door, sloped roofs, extractors. It can basically be useful anywhere.

2. No lintel needed, almost self-supporting

The Compact door just needs a flat and stable vertical surface to be installed on. This means, the door can be installed in temporary buildings, but also as an internal door or flexible wall. The silent operation and the high quality finish make it suitable for both industrial, commercial and even larger residential projects.

3. External installation for even more space

The Compact door can also be installed outside of the building or room. This way, no door parts are inside, saving even more space. This option is often applied in spray booths, car wash installations and cargo elevators.
