Why is the Compact folding door more durable than standard sectional doors?
- The door has fewer parts that can break down. For example, there are no balancing springs that require maintenance. This is a recurring problem in standard overhead doors.
- The door is suited for cyclic building. The door can be rebuilt on another location thanks to the smart, almost self-supporting system. Therefore, the door is frequently being used in temporary buildings. Older doors can even be refurbished by using new panels.
No balancing springs
Standard overhead doors usually require balancing springs. Owners of these overhead doors, also referred to as roller shutters or sectional doors will recognise the fact that these springs will require attention frequently. They are a relatively sensitive part of the sectional door. The durable Compact folding door does not have these springs and is therefore less sensitive for technical failures.
